Courtney C. Faria, Client Service and Reporting Associate
Although Courtney has only been in the industry for a short time, her analytical mind and dedication to customer service have led her to excel in financial services. Beginning with Centerpoint Advisors in 2014, she quickly learned that there is a strong need for structured reporting and formatting for the complex concepts surrounding portfolio management. Wanting to provide a greater understanding of these concepts to Centerpoint clients, she was happy to take the lead on several reporting projects immediately upon her full time employment in the summer of 2015. As the head of reporting, she provides clients with the streamlined and transparent look that reflects our appreciation of their loyalty and support.
Courtney holds a B.S. in International Business and Marketing from Roger Williams University, as well as a B.S. in Business Administration from the ICN Business School in Nancy, France, where she studied abroad for nine months. The level of education paired with the incredible cultural experience in France was unforgettable. The financial industry appeals to her because of its presence and impact globally. Obtaining dual degrees was difficult but interesting, and Courtney graduated magna cum laude as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society.
Working at Centerpoint
Courtney’s daily tasks support her goal to ensure a smooth and pleasant client experience, creating efficient resolutions to client requests and inquiries. Key activities include the preparation and customization of client portfolio reviews and presentations, as well as maintaining the databases used for aggregated reporting. Clients can also rely on Courtney for the collection of client tax documents, as well as coordination with and distribution to their tax professionals. She also assists with investment analysis, research, and due diligence.
Outside the office
Aside from traveling abroad, Courtney also likes to explore new places in the U.S with her fiancée Anthony. One of her passions is to experience local festivals and concerts, especially to see her favorite country music artists. After the office closes, you can find her listening to Kenny Chesney and dancing in her chair as she wraps up a few remaining projects for the day. After work Courtney can often be found in the kitchen baking her famous chocolate pistachio cake with her dog Paisley at her feet, knowing she will be the beneficiary of a few crumbs.
