Richard W. Greene, Principal Emeritus
With over 37 years of experience in financial services, Richard brought a deep knowledge of the industry to Centerpoint Advisors. Founding Centerpoint alongside Jennifer Wolfsberg allowed him to apply his vast experience with institutional relationships, large firms and hedge funds, and private placements to the independent service model of Centerpoint. He currently works as a Director at Panther Properties, LLC, a Woburn based company involved in the development, purchase, and management of multi-family assets in the Southeastern United States.
Richard is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, having received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Economics in 1976. He is still greatly involved with the university, and is the co-founder of the Brandeis University Business and Professional Network. Through this channel he is able to network with other peer professionals, and mentors and assists upcoming graduates wishing to pursue a career in finance.
Working with Centerpoint
Richard’s macro-view of the markets and granular research are a great asset supporting our management philosophy and practice. His detailed research, analysis, and findings are used as a resource to construct our market commentary and the various blog articles that are of interest to our clients. Richard is active in our charitable initiatives throughout the year including our annual trivia night to support The Children’s Room.
Outside the office
In his free time Richard enjoys golfing and traveling to the Southwest with his wife Lisa. He also dedicates a great deal of time on volunteer work, and is on the advisory board of The Children’s Room in Arlington, a non-profit organization providing grief support to children and families that have experienced the unexpected loss of a loved one. Richard also spends time going to concerts with his son, Michael, and taking in the fine dining and entertainment of New York City where he frequently visits his daughter, Melanie.
