Juneteenth National Holiday Hours
June 17th, 2025
As we honor Juneteenth National Independence Day on Thursday, June 19, 2025, please be aware of the following schedule changes and deadlines:
- All U.S. equity and bond markets will be closed.
- Fidelity Investments will be closed.
- Most banks, the U.S. Postal Service, and UPS will not be operating.
That said, Fidelity’s International Equity and Foreign Exchange (FX) desks will remain open during normal business hours.
Due to the holiday, several money movement services will be temporarily affected. Please keep these key cutoffs in mind:
Checks:
Deposits: Brokerage check deposits will not be processed on June 19.
Disbursements: No checks will be issued that day.
If you need an overnight check delivered by Friday, June 20, be sure to submit the request by 4:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 18.
Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs):
EFT redemptions submitted after 4:00 p.m. ET on June 18 will go out on Friday, June 20.
For same-day processing, make sure the transaction is fully approved by 2:00 p.m. ET.
Bank Wires:
Incoming wires after 4:00 p.m. ET on June 18 will be priced as of June 20.
Outgoing wires submitted after that time will also be processed on June 20.
Foreign Currency Wires:
Outgoing currency wires submitted before 3:00 p.m. ET on June 18 will settle on the next available value date.
Requests submitted after that time, or on the holiday itself, will be processed on Friday, June 20.
Inbound currency wires received on June 19 will be posted with a value date of June 20.
