The many facets of the financial services industry are what draw Anthony to the field, as it is geared to his desire to work in an atmosphere where he is always learning.

Anthony, having had exposure to firms that focus solely on investing, was intrigued by Centerpoint and the complexities the firm dives into surrounding new opportunities, client relationships, and total portfolio management, with each team member sharing a common goal of exceeding expectations. Anthony’s experience as a leader in his extracurricular roles not only make him willing to accept any challenging task, but also have made him an excellent team player and wonderful addition to the Centerpoint Team.

Background

Having lived in four different states and two countries in his youth, Anthony has come to appreciate many aspects of culture and individual relationships with money. He attended Bryant University where he became interested in financial services, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics and Marketing. He graduated in 2018 Magna Cum Laude, and during his time at Bryant was in the honors program as well as the Archway Investment Fund, a student-managed investment fund. Anthony was one of the founding portfolio managers to establish and manage Bryant’s first fixed income fund.

Working at Centerpoint

After a year-long internship at the firm, Anthony joined Centerpoint Advisors fulltime in June of 2018 as an operations associate prior to his current role. He works directly with the Director of Relationship Development, Ashley Agnew as well as the firm’s managing principals, to support client relationships and help implement the plans to reach their desired financial outcomes. Anthony also has a strong investment background with a solid knowledge of the markets and supports the portfolio management team. He holds a FINRA Series 65 license and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Outside the Office

Anthony is quite busy during his free time with volunteer work, flying, golfing, and especially sailing which he enjoys both nationally and internationally. His longest journey was from Panama to the south of Chile, sailing over 3,500 nautical miles. Anthony is a Certified U.S. Sailing Instructor having achieved a level 3 certification through eight years of coaching with a passion of bringing the joy of learning to aspiring sailors. In addition to his sailing certification, he also has his Private Pilot’s License, choosing to be in the air any opportunity that he is unable to be on the water.
