Small Business Spotlight: Sea Nuts
Our team has a habit of sharing our favorite new small businesses in our conversations around the office. Together we have discovered some great products and companies. For this week’s blog, we’ve decided to share a new business that has made its way into all our homes, Sea Nuts™ hand roasted pecans. Sea Nuts™ is a small women-owned business based out of Hyannis, where a mother of 5 has shared her delicious family recipe with the world, starting with Cape Cod.
Helen Ventouris, founder of Sea Nuts ™, shares her vision and mission on every pack:
“As a mother of five grown children with over 30 years of food business experience, life has certainly been nutty over the years. But it has taught me to appreciate the simple things. A delicious bite. Sea breeze in my hair. That exhale you feel crossing the bridge onto Cape Cod.
Women-owned and operated, Sea Nuts all started with an original Sweet Pecan recipe I inherited from my aunt. My friends and neighbors loved them so much that it inspired me to think bigger — while channeling my appreciation for local, handcrafted goodness along the way. To that end, I hope to keep carving my own path with Sea Nuts, creating more artisanal flavors and countless smiles along the way. “
We love this concept of simple wholesome ingredients and the “some of the best things in life are small” company philosophy. Sea Nuts currently offers two flavor options, Spicy or Sweet, each a perfect accompaniment to a charcuterie board, salad or pie topping, or alone as a snack on-the-go since they arrive in perfectly portioned and attractive packages. Members of the Centerpoint team have also shared these as teacher appreciation gifts, stocking stuffers, and have used them to add a local flavor to gift baskets.
