Coming Together and Looking Ahead

December 22, 2020, By Ashley Agnew:

It’s official- it is the end of 2020. With just a days left, the grit of our communities has certainly been put to the test. As we look around at our clients, colleagues, and families, we could not be more proud of how our small slice of the global community has made it through very, very difficult conditions. In reflection, we are filled with an immense feeling of gratitude. If you are reading this, please know that we appreciate you.

As you may recall, our charitable initiative was to support the organization Creative Little Leaders. While the conditions of the pandemic stunted the efforts of the organization which operated mainly in schools, the message and passion did not dissipate. Creative Little Leaders worked together, safely, to provide care packages to homeless shelters, to spread the word of kindness throughout virtual community networks, and to stay engaged with educators to continue growing children’s resources even in a remote landscape. We are proud of what this organization has accomplished amidst many obstacles.

Looking ahead to 2021, we will be supporting an organization that is close to many of us, the American Cancer Society. In discussions our team has found that individually we all donate to this cause and unfortunately have watched loved ones suffer battles with cancer. In light of this, for the upcoming year, we have committed to learning more about the ways we can combine efforts to raise awareness for this organization that helps so many.  To kickstart our initiative, we have made a donation to an ACS project that provides rides to treatment for cancer patients in need.

We hope that this holiday season fills your days with comfort and hope, even if just one moment at a time. If we can be of any assistance, please reach out. We are here.

Sincerely,
Your Team at Centerpoint
